Special adoption rates and fun activities planned at Adopt-A-Thon
Cobb Animal Control staff will host an Adopt-A-Thon 10 a.m-4 p.m., Saturday, May 18. Families are invited to come and find a new best friend. There will be vendors, food, police K-9 demonstrations, raffles and special adoption rates. People will also have the opportunity to meet and get a book signed by Ed T. Payne, author of the children's book "The Daily Rounds of a Hound." Molly, the main character of the book, was adopted from Cobb Animal Control.
