On May 12, 2020, the Board of Commissioners initially authorized a CARES fund balance appropriation of $1,000,000 to support the need for food procurement, storage, and distribution.  On November 10, 2020, the Cobb County Board of Commissioners will consider an Agenda to approve a second allocation of $600,000.00 emergency funding to support the critical and continued need for food procurement, storage, and distribution, which will include program administrative fees.  Nonprofit organizations will be allowed to incur food related expenses for the months of October, November and December.

All funding must be fully expended by Friday, December 1, 2020.
