REVISED PY2021 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ALLOCATION

On Monday, May 17, 2021, the Cobb County CDBG Program Office received written notification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) of the revision of the County’s Program Year (PY) 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) final allocation.

Cobb County initially received $3,608,001.00 in CDBG funding for PY2021. The revised allocation for CDBG is $3,661,168.00, which represents a $53,167.00 increase in funding .  The revised PY2021 CDBG funding recommendations will be included on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 the Board of Commissioners' Agenda.

The public comment period commences on Friday, May 21, 2021 and concludes on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  All comments regarding this Public Notice should be directed to the Cobb County CDBG Program Office at (770) 528-1455 or via email at publiccomments@cobbcountycdbg.com.

A Virtual Public Meeting was held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM to receive comments on the revised PY2021 CDBG final funding recommendations.
