The Cobb County CDBG Program Office will hold a Public Review Meeting on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. to receive comments for the proposed ESG-CV supplemental funding allocations.

Cobb County has been awarded a supplemental allocation of Emergency Solutions Grant CARES Act (ESG-CV) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development totaling $407,864.40. The reallocated ESG-CV funds will be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance, and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus.

A 30-day Public Comment period commences on Thursday, November 3, 2022 and concludes on Monday, December 5, 2022. All comments regarding this Public Notice should be directed to the Cobb County CDBG Program Office at (770) 528-1455 or publiccomments@cobbcountycdbg.com. The proposed funding recommendations will be included on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 Board of Commissioners' Agenda.
