Cobb's Board of Commissioners (BOC) will hold two public hearings on a 2023 Code Amendment package being presented due to a change in state law.

The effect of the Bill revised provisions of the Zoning Procedures Law.  Some of the new provisions required that certain items be included in the local government’s code. The proposed revisions to the county code are to bring Cobb’s code into compliance with state law as required by July 1, 2023.

The first public hearing was held before the Planning Commission, the second public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 13 at 9 a.m. during the Board of Commissioners meeting.  The second public hearing on the attached code amendments package before the BOC will be held on June 27, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.
