Marietta, GA – Cobb Solicitor General Makia Metzger has announced she will host a series of four town halls during the month of August 2024, so citizens have an opportunity to meet and greet their Solicitor General. “I’m excited for the opportunity to engage with our residents and receive their feedback,” Solicitor General Metzger said.  “Providing easier access to citizens helps increase understanding to what we do.”

Each of the town hall meetings is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  The dates and exact locations are as follows:

• Wednesday, August 7, 2024, North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144  
• Wednesday, August 14, 2024, South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Rd. SW, Mableton, GA 30126
• Wednesday, August 21, 2024, West Cobb Regional Library, 1750 Dennis Kemp Lane, Kennesaw, GA 30152
• Wednesday, August 28, 2024, East Cobb Regional Library, 4880 Lower Roswell, Rd. Marietta, GA 30068

The town hall meetings will cover a range of initiatives and projects the Office of the Solicitor General is working on.  Residents are encouraged to attend so they can learn how the Office of the Solicitor General operates and can be of service when it comes to community safety and security.
