The Cobb County Board of Elections and Registration was informed on Monday, February 27, 2023, by City Council - District 6 Candidate, Ricky Dickens, that he has withdrawn his candidacy from the March 21, 2023, City of Mableton Special Election. 

Please note:   Per O.C.G.A. § 21-2-134, votes cast for this candidate, shall be void and will not be counted.
