Block Coding with Octostudio
This four-week workshop will engage children in grades K-2 in learning to tell a story or design a video game with Octostudio from MIT Media Lab. OctoStudio invites young people to use phones and tablets to express themselves creatively – and, in the process, also learn computational and problem-solving skills.
This program is intended for grades K-2 with a participating adult.

OctoStudio was developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the MIT Media Lab; the Lifelong Kindergarten group also created Scratch, the world’s most popular coding language for kids. OctoStudio is completely free of charge, without any ads or in-app purchases.
