05:00pm - 06:00pm

Does your middle schooler want to learn how to code? Students, ages 10-13, can learn with Senior Java Developer and Computer Science Instructor, Austin Poole, in a series of four, free coding classes for tweens and teens at the Mountain View Regional Library. Building on their programming skills each week, students will participate in hands-on Karel Language coding activities - an introduction to learning coding language developed by Rich Pattis.

Learning how to code takes time, so to get the most out of this learning opportunity, students must be committed to attending all four coding class sessions for the best possible learning outcome.
