The Youth Arts Council introduces High School Juniors and Seniors to different careers in the Arts through guest lectures and community projects.

High school students in 11th through 12th grade are encouraged to apply for the Spring 2025 Cobb County Youth Arts Council. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about careers in the Arts and collaborating on community art projects. It is also great experience to add to resumes or college applications.

The application process includes supplemental questions and a recommendation from a community member — such as a teacher, counselor, principal, religious leader or community leader — who has known the student for at least one year. Applicants may also submit portfolio examples for consideration but this is not required. Applications and references are due no later than 5:00pm on Friday January 17th, 2025.
