The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is excited to propose an engaging and enlightening lecture, titled "The Art of Horror: Art History & Horror Cinema." This event aims to explore the intricate relationship between the visual arts and horror cinema, examining how historical art movements have influenced horror films and how the genre has, in turn, impacted contemporary art.The lecture will be a 60-minute presentation, including a 45-minute lecture followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. Visual aids, including slides of artworks and film clips, will be used to enhance the presentation.
