Stop by the Switzer library during the month of September to view the metal art of Rick Cheney.

Rick is a native Georgian and retired Lockhead master welder. His art is made of found metal pieces that he has collected, and continues to collect, over the years.  He and his now departed sidekick, Yonah, visited locations across the metro Atlanta area. With his new sidekick, Ingo, he continues to travel locally seeking out metal pieces to incorporate in his fabrications.

All works on display are constructed of pieces that Rick welds together and then paints with  a multitude of layers and colors. He has been influenced by his global travels and artists and architects from around the world and over the ages.
