Sensory Friendly Movie Mondays
Join Accessibility Services on Mondays at 11am and 1:30pm for a sensory friendly movie experience for adults (age 18+) with disabilities and their companions. The lights will be dimmed, closed captions displayed, and fidget activities are provided. Movies will be shown in the Switzer Library Community Room; doors open at 10:45am and 1:15pm. Registration is required.
Maximum capacity for each movie showing is limited to 30 patrons.
Due to this limited capacity, walk-ins are not guaranteed program entry.

Our August theme is in honor of International Assistance Dog Week, Aug. 4th - 10th. Please join us to celebrate the positive impacts that dogs can make!
August 5: No Movie
August 12: Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008): A spoiled pooch gets separated from her wealthy owner in Mexico and must find her way home to Los Angeles, getting help along the way from a wacky collection of critters. Rating: PG | Runtime: 100 minutes
August 19: Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993): Three pets—a wise old dog named Shadow, a young excitable dog named Chance and a snobby feline named Sassy—escape from a California ranch and embark on a dangerous quest to find their owners. The pets must work together to survive the elements and find their way home. Rating: G | Runtime: 85 minutes
August 26: Balto (1995): An outcast dog transports desperately needed medicine through blinding storms in Alaska. Rating: G | Runtime: 71 minutes
