Two lifelong friends. One blood disease. Follow their journey as one suffers from Sickle Cell - an often stigmatized and excruciatingly painful disorder that mostly affects African Americans.

Mapillar Dahn, founder and CEO of the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. and Alexandra Phillips with Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia will also have tables and will answer any questions you may have about the disease.

Refreshments and door prizes will be provided. Arrive before the film to be entered in for a chance to win a Kindle Fire!

This program is possible due to funding provided by a grant from the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation. The grant was awarded to Switzer Library through Georgia Public Library Service.
