A Thousand Tales in the City: A Mystery & Noir Workshop

Saturday, 11/02/2024 - Saturday, 11/02/2024
02:00pm - 04:00pm

Have you ever wondered what it takes to craft a twisty, cool detective story?

Please join author and Kennesaw State University professor, Brandi Bradley, for a mystery and noir writing workshop. Participants will discuss the different elements of the noir genre, planting red herrings, shaping progressive femme fatales, and developing complex detectives. Participants will also:

  • Learn how to structure a mystery plot
  • Share clues without giving away the game
  • Meet other mystery writers

Please plan to share a short story, or a first chapter to be workshopped. Please click here for guidelines and to submit your work.
