An arson arrest warrant was obtained on 02/28/2020. The Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services Fire Investigation’s Unit continues to investigate a fire which occurred at the Avenues of Kennesaw located at 3780 Towne Crossing NW Apt 409, Kennesaw, Georgia. 
 
It was determined that at approximately 11:52 hours on 02/28/2020, a fire was intentionally set on an exterior second-floor balcony of the multifamily-dwelling at said location.   
 
As a result of the investigation, 33 year old female Lydia N. Ferguson was taken into custody and charged with one count of Arson 1st  Endangerment. Ms. Ferguson is currently being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center with a $25,000 bond.
