Single Family Toilet Rebate Program

back button20x21Back to Indoor Efficiency

One of the biggest water users in the home is the toilet. Up to 35% of the water used indoors may be flushed down the drain every day. Cobb County Water System has a toilet rebate program approved by the Board of Commissioners on October 29, 2007.  The goal of the program is to provide an incentive for customers in homes built in 1992 or earlier, to retrofit older high flow toilets with high-efficiency EPA WaterSense Labeled toilets.  WaterSense is the Environmental Protection Agency’s labeling program for water efficiency.

The program provides a $100.00 rebate applied as a credit on the customer’s water bill.  The rebate is limited to no more than 3 toilets per property.

Please visit the WaterSense website to check if your toilet qualifies by clicking here web-link15x15.
