Power outage and partial closure of Paces Ferry Road scheduled for Sunday

A section of Paces Ferry Road, from Paces Mill Road and Cochise Drive, will be closed, Sunday, June 26, beginning at 10 a.m., while Georgia Power relocates several utility poles around the Cobb County Vinings fire station. The closure is expected to last approximately eight hours. To insure the safe and efficient relocation of poles, Georgia Power must turn off power to 18 residential customers in the immediate vicinity. Those customers are being contacted directly. No business customers will be impacted. Please use New Paces Ferry Road as a detour during construction.
