If you are ordered by the court or as recommended in your evaluation to enter into an inpatient treatment facility, the inpatient treatment facility must be approved by the Judge or your Probation Officer.
Once you enter the program, you are expected to complete the program. Leaving the program before you are properly discharged will result in a revocation of your probation. You are also responsible for supplying your Probation Officer with monthly updates of your progress.
www.GarrOnline.org will supply you with a list of inpatient facilities that have been approved by the court. It is rare for your Probation Officer to approve an inpatient facility located outside the state of Georgia because of extradition purposes. These will need to be approved by the Judge.
