“Buzz Kill”
You are to read the article and write a 2 paragraph essay on what you have learned from it. Make sure that it is written legibly.

ADAD Video
You can watch the ADAD video at the Cobb County Solicitor General’s Office located at 10 East Park Square Suite 300, Marietta, GA 30090. You are able to view the video anytime Monday – Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. Bring your own head phones. There is no charge for watching the video.

STD/AIDS test
This is a test for sexually transmitted diseases to include an AIDS test. Check with your Primary Care Physician or your local health department for testing.

Parenting Class
Parenting classes provide parents, stepparents and guardians with new methods to motivate, encourage, and discipline children. These classes strive to improve family relationships while providing guidance for raising children. You can contact local counseling facilities or DFACS for parenting classes in your area. The divorcing parent seminar is NOT considered a parenting class.

Gun Safety
The gun safety course will teach you how to properly handle and store firearms. You can find a gun safety course at some of your local gun ranges and firearm distributors. You can also check the National Rifle Association website or contact your state’s Fish and Game Department for information on gun safety courses in your area.

Ignition Interlock
The ignition interlock is connected to the ignition system of your vehicle and requires a passing breath test before the vehicle can be started. The device also requires random retests while driving. You can find a list of Georgia Ignition Interlock providers at www.dds.ga.gov. If you live outside the state of Georgia, contact your local Department of Driver Services for approved providers in your area.

Delayed Report to Cobb County Adult Detention Center
The Judge has given you a specific time and date to report to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. If you fail to report, a warrant will be issued for your arrest. It is very important that you take your Sentence Sheet with you to the jail so they will know the amount of time ordered by the Judge. Make sure to read the Delayed Report Instructions before reporting to the jail. The Cobb County Adult Detention Center is located at 1825 County Services Parkway, Marietta, GA 30008.

CSAI Weekend
CSAI stands for Community Service as an Alternative to Incarceration. You are assigned a weekend by the Intake Officer the day you are sentenced. Be sure to read over the rules outlined in the paperwork you received from the Intake Officer.
