Public Information Meetings: Cumberland Circulator

Public information open house meetings on the proposed CobbLinc service addition of two Cumberland Circulator bus routes will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, and Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the proposed addition Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at 7 p.m. (Location details are available below.) Citizens are encouraged to attend these public meetings to share comments and concerns. A court reporter will be present to record comments in a transcript of the public hearing.

The proposed Cumberland Circulator service is comprised of two routes. The core route will operate on weekdays and Saturday with 15 and 30-minute frequencies in a loop from the Cumberland Transit Center via Cumberland Boulevard, Riverwood Parkway, Cobb Parkway, Akers Mill Road, Galleria Drive, Professional Parkway, Cobb Parkway, Circle 75 Parkway, Heritage Court, Windy Ridge Parkway, Interstate North Parkway, Cumberland Boulevard, Akers Mill Road and Cumberland Boulevard, turning around at Cumberland Mall to return to the Cumberland Transit Center.

On weekdays, the south route will operate with 30-minute frequency from the Cumberland Transit Center via Cumberland Mall to return to southbound Cumberland Parkway, Paces Ferry Road, Spring Hill Parkway and into The Home Depot campus. Northbound service will run via Skyline Trail, Paces Ferry Road, Cumberland Parkway and Cumberland Boulevard to the Cumberland Transit Center.
