Rose Wing is a native of Cobb County and has served as Vice Chair of the Cobb County Historic Preservation Commission since 2013. She has a deep, abiding love for history – having earned a BA degree in History, as well as a Juris Doctor degree.
She is a longtime member of Cobb Landmarks and Historical Society. Her service to that organization includes two terms as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Rose is a retired Cobb County Assistant District Attorney and is now in private practice in Marietta.
She is active in the Cobb County community and serves on Boards relating to historic preservation, education, children’s issues, and community concerns. She serves as an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta. Her hobbies include traveling and playing with her Border Collie, Charlie.
