Monday

Senior Exercise #5150

Registration required
This class will help increase balance, flexibility, and range of motion through light aerobic movements. 
Video-led. No instructor. 

Monday Golden Zumba #5121

Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create a low impact aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. It combines high energy and motivating music with unique body sculpting movements that allow the participants to dance their way to better fitness. Exercising has never been more fun.

Beginner Tai Chi #5118

Tai Chi is a "moving meditation” class for new students with less than two years of experience. Discover the benefits of this ancient form of martial arts which will improve balance, agility, strength, and coordination. This unique class will help you flow through your everyday life.

Intermediate Tai Chi #5119

Intermediate Strength Training & Kettle Bell #5120

Full body strengthening with light hand weights, bands and a kettle bell.  To achieve the maximum benefit from this class, women should bring at the very least an 8lb but ideally a 10 lb. kettle bell. Men should bring at least an 15 lb bell.  This is an exercise class for seniors that have attended my strength classes on a regular basis. No beginners, please.

Focus on Fitness #5151

This is an exercise class that utilizes chair aerobics as an alternative to floor exercise. This instructor led-class uses resistance bands, free weights, some walking, and stretching. Please bring your own resistance band.

Put some spring in your step. Come join our beginning line dance class, where you will learn all the boot-scooting country line dances, maybe even the electric slide, and some oldies like the stroll.

Gentle Yoga #5113

Yoga with a gentle touch for those who need balance support, are returning to yoga after medical reasons or hiatus. Poses are done seated in a chair, standing, and on a mat. Modifications are given. Experience not required. Yoga mat and block required. 

Intermediate Yoga #5114

Slow flowing practice designed to increase your range of motion, flexibility, and balance. Poses held longer to build strength and endurance. This class teaches you the logic and reason for each pose. No beginners please. 
Yoga mat and yoga block required. 

Soul Line Dance #5157

Soul Line Dance is designed for the new line dancer as well as those who have some prior dance experience. You will learn standard dance steps which will be used to perform beginner & intermediate dances. You’ll learn current and older favorites. As new dances are introduced in the Soul Line Dance Community, they will be covered in the curriculum.

Beginner Strength Training & Pilates # 5117

This class is full body strengthening with the use of hand weights and a band.  If you have not attended a strength class before, you will find this class challenging, but invigorating. Strength training and the addition of Pilates for core strength & stability, this class will help you to function easier in life and in your daily activities as it will help with balance, will give you the strength to lift and carry, and to build dense strong bones.  Strength training is a must as we age. A little cardiovascular conditioning is incorporated here and there making this a very well-rounded class.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance. You will flow through a series of movements designed to condition your entire body. Mat required.

Advanced Yoga #5115

Chair Yoga #5160

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support.  This class will help with flexibility, improve muscle tone, and builds balance to help prevent falls.  In addition to a good stretch, you will also enjoy other health benefits of yoga including better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being. This class will incorporate breath work, humor, and fun facts about your body.
