Summer 2018 Classes

Registration for Summer 2018 begins Monday, June 25 for Cobb residents and Non-residents, in-person, & online registration will begin at 9:00 am.

 

 

Monday

Fitness Level 1 (All Seated) #5377

9:00 am – 10:00 am 
$9 Cobb resident; $12 Non-resident
July 9 – Sept 10 (No class September 3)
Come out for total-body workout to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, and coordination. This class provides aerobic and strength training in an energetic environment. 

Fitness Level 3 (All Standing) #5385

10:15 am – 11:15 am

July 9 – Sept 10 (No class September 3)
Have fun while moving through a variety of exercises geared to increase muscular strength and range of movement. Hand-held weights are provided for resistance. 

Tai Chi for Arthritis #5400

Tai Chi is designed for fall prevention and suitable for any fitness level. Movements taught in this class will improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints. 

Intermediate Line Dancing #5386

Slide Steppin’ Dance Party #5388

Limited transportation is provided for $2 due at registration.

Fitness is a splash at this pool party. This is an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise in shallow water. Bring a change of clothes, towel and pool shoes if preferred.
