New process to reserve meeting room at Cobb Government Service Centers

Room reservations for February bookings and beyond at East and South Cobb Government Service Centers must now be booked online at

Step 1: Create an account on CivicRec. Be sure to include your email address.

Step 2: Find the Government Service Center meeting rooms on the Facilities list, then click on the calendar to see if the date you’re interested in is available. If available, fill in your meeting request information. Be sure to include time for set up, clean up and return of furnishings to the standard configuration of the room.

Step 3: Your reservation request will be reviewed and verified by county staff, and you will receive an email confirmation within two business days. Remember, your reservation is not confirmed until you have received notification.

Step 4: Once you receive your confirmation, follow the link to retrieve your reservation and pay the fee to reserve the room. Acceptable forms of payment are credit card and debit card.

Your payment of $25.00 must be received within two business days of your confirmation. A reservation will not be considered confirmed until full payment has been received and the Meeting Room Agreement has been fully executed online by the county’s representative and the reserving party.

Once payment is received, an entry code to access the meeting room on the date of your event will be emailed to you.

Step 5: On the day of rental, you will need to sign in on the posted sheet at the facility, indicating arrival time, number of participants, departure time and verifying room was clean and in order prior to and after completion of the event. Failure to comply may result in denial of future rental. Drop the form in the drop box just outside the room.

NOTE: Room fees are only refundable if event is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the event. Any qualifying refund will be issued by check from Cobb County. The county reserves the right to cancel or deny the reservation for reasons listed in the Meeting Agreement. Please allow 30 days for refunds.
