BOC approves CobbLinc Route 10X

The CobbLinc Route 10X implementation plan was approved by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners at its Feb. 28 meeting.

The route will offer faster and more direct service between midtown Atlanta and the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Kennesaw campus and provide connections to Georgia State University, the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Savannah School of Art and Design. Additional stops include Life University, KSU's Marietta campus and SunTrust Park. Route 10X is anticipated to shorten travel time by limiting stops only to major destinations and to relieve the often overcrowded CobbLinc Route 10, which has the highest ridership in the County's transit system and one of the highest in the Southeast at large.

Public Information Open House: Three District 3 Projects

The Cobb County Department of Transportation (CCDOT) will share details about three projects at a public information open house Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center at 3400 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, 30066. There will be no formal presentation. The projects on display will be Sandy Plains Road at Davis Road (Mountain View Elementary School Relocation), Old Canton Road at Holly Springs Road and Post Oak Tritt Road at Hembree Road. CCDOT personnel will be on-site to answer questions.
