Windy Hill Road lane closure at I-75 overpass to cause significant delays and congestion

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, the right lane for eastbound travel on Windy Hill Road at the I-75 overpass will close indefinitely as the westbound lane on the north side of the bridge reopens. This 24-hour lane closure will cause significant traffic congestion and delays at different times throughout the day. Following this traffic shift, the lane configuration for eastbound traffic across the I-75 bridge will be two through lanes and one left turn lane to I-75 North. Construction work in the area will take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.

Windy Hill Road EB Ramp to I-285 WB Weekend Closure

.
Beginning Sept. 30, 2016, the ramp from Windy Hill Road eastbound to I-285 westbound will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Oct. 3, 2016, for work on the Windy Ridge Parkway Bridge project. Drivers looking to take the westbound ramp to I-285 will be directed to I-75 southbound. Message signs, as well as a Cobb County police officer, will be in place to announce the ramp closure and redirect motorists. The ramp from Windy Hill Road to I-75 southbound will remain open.
