Daily Instructions

You have reached the office of Cobb Superior Court Jury Administration. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have received a jury summons, please read the information provided on the front and back of the summons.

If you are no longer a resident of Cobb County, please fax or email a document, such as a utility bill or driver’s license, showing your name and current address. If you need a Child Care Affidavit, over 70 affidavit, or a non citizen affidavit, go to your summons and check the applicable choice, and have your signature notarized. Students must submit an affidavit from the Registrar’s Office showing they are a full time student. Medical Affidavits are located at the bottom of your summons.

All requests for deferments from jury duty must be made in writing. The email address and the Fax number are printed on your jury summons. Submit your name, the date you are summoned and a brief reason for your request. The Court will respond back to you in writing. Deferments and or excusals cannot be made over the telephone.

Beware of Jury Duty Scams

The court will never contact you and ask you to pay a fine for missing jury service with a money card, etc. to avoid being arrested.

If you have received a call asking for payment of a fine for missing jury duty, contact the Cobb County Sheriff Department. Ask for Investigators Bob Morris at 770-499-4678 or 770-499-4752.
