Inclement Weather Policy:

When Cobb County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes, events and programs will be postponed to a later date. The Center will be opened for drop-in activities if staff can safely open the Center; call to confirm.

Transportation is not provided.


Marietta Neighborhood Center

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Cobb County residents age 60 and better enjoy structured group activities and programs such as music, crafts, exercise, and special events. Each weekday a hot, nutritious lunch is served in a personal, friendly atmosphere. Nutrition and health/wellness educational programs are also offered.

Door-to-door transportation can be provided based on eligibility.

An assessment is conducted, and eligibility is determined based on need. Call 770-528-2516 for details.

Registration and Cancellation

Note: Beginning Thursday, December 14, access to online registration will not be available as CSS and Cobb PARKS make the move to a new registration system, Civic Rec. Access will be re-established on January 2, 2018, at which time you will be able to create your CSS membership and register for activities that take place on or after February 1st. We appreciate your understanding.

Registration Is Required for All Activities

Workout Central Hours

Adults age 55+ are welcome to use the exercise equipment at Senior Wellness Center Monday-Thursday 9:30 am - 7:00 pm and Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Orientation for using the equipment is required and held every Thursday at 9:00 am.  Additionally, a Physician’s Release is available at the front desk and must be submitted prior to using the equipment.
