Summer Reading Kickoff Celebrations June 3; Summer Reading Starts June 1
Summer Reading is June 1 - July 31, 2023. Summer Reading is an all-ages reading and learning program that supports family bonding time, community engagement, and shared learning experiences. We’ve included activities designed to encourage participation by the whole family because learning doesn’t stop when you leave school.

Summer Reading Kickoff celebrations presented by Cobb County Public Library will be staged outdoors at four libraries in the early evening Saturday, June 3.
The all-ages Kickoff celebrations will be 4 pm to 6 pm Saturday at:

Summer Reading is designed to encourage reading through the season and runs June 1-July 31. “All Together Now” is the 2023 summer reading theme with Cobb libraries highlighting community. Supporters for the local program include Georgia Public Library Service and Cobb Library Foundation.
The Kickoff events will be a celebration of summer reading – and everyone is encouraged to be engaged in the festive atmosphere, organizers say.
