FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2022 COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT - ADDITIONAL ALLOCATION & REALLOCATION OF FUNDING

A Virtual Public Review Meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022 to receive comments on Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) allocation of additional funding in the amount of $144,022.79 awarded to Cobb County by the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS). The County’s total FFY 2022 CSBG grant award total is $958,920.79.  There will also be a recommendation for reallocation of $55,000.00 in rescinded FFY 2022 CSBG funds presented at the meeting.

The FFY 2022 CSBG funding recommendations will be included on the Regular Agenda for the Cobb County Board of Commissioners meeting held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

A 30-day Public Comment period commences on Monday, January 31, 2022 and will conclude on Friday, March 4, 2022. Comments may be directed in person to the Cobb County CDBG Program Office, 192 Anderson Street, Suite 150, Marietta, GA 30060 or via email at publiccomments@cobbcountycdbg.com.
