A Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. to receive comments on the appropriation of interest income from the United States Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) for Fiscal Year 2019.

Cobb County’s 2019 JAG program has accumulated a total of $101.73 in interest income. The County is recommended interest reallocation to liveSAFE Resources, Inc. JAG funds and any subsequent interest earned are considered program income and can only be allocated to subrecipients funded during the 2019 grant year.  Per JAG requirements, all 2019 grant funds and interest income must be expended by September 30, 2022 to close out the grant.

Public Comment: Wednesday, May 11, 2022 - Monday, June 13, 2022.
