Acclaimed Children’s Book Illustrator/Author Brian Lies visiting Cobb libraries October 27
Award-winning children’s book illustrator and author Brian Lies will visit three Cobb County Public Library locations on Friday, October 27.
Cobb EMC and Cobb Library Foundation are organizers for the visits by Lies, the bestselling author of the Bats series, The Rough Patch, Got to Get to Bear’s! and more. Lies (pronounced Lees) is a resident of New England who has built a fan base in Cobb County through visits at schools and public libraries arranged by Cobb EMC over the years with programs of readings for children and families and demonstrations of the process of developing book-ready illustrations and stories. There will be opportunities for a chance to receive a free, signed copy of a book by Lies at the events.

- Noon Meet & Greet: Sewell Mill Library, 2051 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta 30068
- 2 pm Storytime: North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway, Kennesaw 30144
