Juvenile Court trained on using evidence based practices to help our youth
In October, Cobb County Juvenile Court hosted a Lunch and Learn event in collaboration with Evidence Based Associates (EBA). This informative session was attended by Juvenile Court staff and management, who gained valuable insights into Multi-systemic Therapy (MST) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT) services offered by mental health professionals from Grace Harbour Behavioral Health. Both MST and FFT are evidence-based behavioral health interventions designed for youth involved in the Juvenile Justice system. Funding for these essential services comes from the Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant (JJIG) by way of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) of Georgia, which has supported evidence-based services for Cobb County Juvenile Court families for nearly a decade.
