Cobb GIS honored as presenters at international conference
More than 18,000 technology professionals from around the world heard firsthand how Cobb County Government staff is impacting the future of geographic information systems at the Esri User Conference. The “GIS—Inspiring What’s Next” conference was held July 9-13 in San Diego with attendees from more than 130 countries.
Cobb’s presentation was on “Enterprise GIS—Inspiring a New Era of Problem Solvers with Location Intelligence” and featured Sharon Stanley, Jennifer Lana, Lynn Biggs, Felicia Alingu and J.D. Lorens. A summary of the presentation says “Cobb County Government is built on a strong foundation of enterprise GIS.
