Sabrina Wright, Economic Development Director
Sabrina Wright is an experienced economic development professional and was appointed as Cobb County’s Director of Economic Development in 2022. Sabrina has more than fifteen years in economic development serving in a myriad of roles in the Metro Atlanta region.
As Cobb County’s Economic Development Director, Sabrina leads her department in efforts to support the Cobb business community by focusing on business attraction, existing business retention, small business, entrepreneurship, job creation and redevelopment. Sabrina believes economic development is a collaborative effort involving many strategic partners and she strives to build partnerships with local leaders and stakeholders who can positively impact Cobb’s business community.
Sabrina is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Cobb and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University. Sabrina grew up in Cobb County and is passionate about doing the necessary work to enhance the economic standard for Cobb County residents.
Tarrah Rogers, Economic Development Specialist
Tarrah Rogers is a native of Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Kennesaw State University. She joined the Planning and Economic Development Division in April and she currently serves as the Economic Development Specialist. She has been with the County 5 years and her previous experience as the Open Records Officer allowed her to gain valuable information of all departments in the county. Prior to her employment with the County, she worked 16 years at Cobb EMC. Rogers’ background includes working as a Commercial/Industrial Account Manager and has over 20 years of combined experience in customer and business relations, marketing, and economic development.
Tarrah is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Cobb, a 2015 graduate of Honorary Commanders, and a 2016 graduate of Leadership Paulding.. She and her husband Brandon live in Dallas and enjoy spending time with their 3 daughters.

Brittney Rasmuson, Economic Development Coordinator
Brittney is a born and raised local Cobb County resident. Her family originated from South Cobb/Mableton before moving to Powder Springs. She is a McEachern High School graduate and further completed her Associates Degree in Business Management at Chattahoochee Technical College.
Brittney has 15 years of experience with Cobb County Government, which includes experience helping with the development of structures and businesses in Cobb County. Her career started with the Cobb County Fire Marshal’s Office as part-time. She then worked her way to full-time and spent almost four years in the Fire Marshal’s Office before moving into her Administrative position as the Assistant to the Cobb County Fire Chief in 2011. She also serves on the Austell Gas Board of Directors and the Austell Area Community Improvement Commissions Advisory Board where she reviews operating reports and yearly budgets, while ensuring that the dissemination of funds is consistent with the organization’s mission. Brittney currently resides with her husband and two children in Austell, GA.
