The Cobb County Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is investigating a vehicle and pedestrian traffic collision that occurred at Holt Road on March 9th, 2019 at 7:01 p.m.

Per investigators, a black 2007 Mercedes Benz SLK350 operated by 73-year-old Nancy Valentine of Marietta was traveling north on Holt Road approaching the crosswalk between Wheeler High School and the old location of East Cobb Middle School. Two juvenile pedestrians in their late teens were crossing the crosswalk. As the juvenile pedestrians crossed into the northbound lanes of Holt Road, the Mercedes Benz collided with both of them.

The two pedestrians were transported to Kennestone Hospital; one with life threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries.
