Grant Application Workshop: Phase 36 Emergency Food & Shelter Program

The Cobb County CDBG Program Office will be hosting a Grant Application Workshop on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 3:30 P.M. at the Charles D. Switzer Public Library located at 266 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA 30060 for non-profit organizations for Phase 36 EFSP Grant Application Cycle.  Interested non-profit organizations should have at least 2-years experience directly related to the proposed project.

The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP) is a Federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and has been entrusted through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 1987. Eligible activities for EFSP include the following:

Emergency Rent/Mortgage/Utility Assistance

Mass Shelter

Supplies/Equipment

Served Meals

Support Services 

Rehabilitation/Repairs
