May 17, 2019, at 1400 hours at Cobb County Fire Station #10, 2049 Powder Springs Road, Marietta the Georgia Arson Control Board will be presenting a reward check to a local resident. A structure fire occurred on Red Barn Road in Marietta on June 18, 2018.  A concerned citizen played an integral part in the fire investigation by providing specific details she became aware of relative to the fire incident and contacted authorities.  Her actions and the evidence provided directly led to the apprehension and conviction of Earnica Lowe. Ms. Lowe ultimately pleaded guilty to Arson in the First Degree and received a prison sentence with court ordered restitution.
