The Cobb County Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is investigating a serious injury collision that occurred in Precinct Two on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 7:22 p.m. on the Concord Road Covered Bridge.

Per investigators, a 2011 Harley Davidson Road Glide was traveling east on Concord Road. The motorcycle entered the Concord Road Covered Bridge and lost control. The motorcycle struck the right-side guardrail and the driver was thrown off the motorcycle.

The driver was identified as 64-year-old Tasha Dyson of Lithia Springs. She was transported to Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries.
