Serious Injury Collision

The Cobb County Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is investigating a serious injury collision that occurred in on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 12:59 p.m. at the intersection of Austell Road and Pair Road.

Per investigators, a black 2012 Honda CBR250 was traveling south on Austell Road. A black 2012 Dodge Avenger was stopped in the northbound left turn lane on Austell Road. As the Honda approached the intersection, the Dodge turned left into the path of the Honda. The Honda collided with the right front of the Dodge. The driver of the Honda was ejected and made contact with the windshield of the Dodge.

The driver of the Honda was identified as 21-year-old Quincy Ochoa of Marietta. Mr. Ochoa was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Dodge was identified as 68-year-old Sandra Ware of Marietta. Ms. Ware was transported to Wellstar Cobb Hospital with minor injuries.
