Our County Board of Commissioners just approved a one-time Hiring Bonus for qualified Lateral Police Officers to our department. The $5,000 incentive will be offered to lateral entry recruits who meet the specific requirements of the incentive and they'll receive the bonus after completion of the Phase II training! In addition to that, Lateral recruits from within Georgia will complete an abbreviated police academy.
