The Cobb County Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred in Precinct Five on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 1:26 a.m. on Stilesboro Road at Pine Mountain Road. 

A white 2008 Suzuki GSX600R was traveling south on Pine Mountain Road, north of the intersection with Stilesboro Road. The motorcycle travelled through the intersection, traversed the southern concrete curb, and collided with a wooden fence on the southern shoulder of Stilesboro Road. The operator separated from the motorcycle.

The operator was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Next of kin has not been notified.

This collision remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
