PUBLIC REVIEW MEETING NOTICE
2018 JAG Interest Allocation

A Virtual Public Meeting will be held to receive comments on the appropriation of interest income from the United States Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) for Fiscal Year 2018.

Cobb County’s 2018 JAG program has accumulated a total of $387.56 in interest income. The County is recommending interest reallocation to the Cobb County District Attorney's Office. JAG funds and any subsequent interest earned are considered program income and can only be allocated to subrecipients funded during the specific grant year.  Per JAG requirements, all 2018 grant funds and interest income must be expended by September 30, 2021 to close out the grant.

A 30-day Public Comment period will commence on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 and will conclude on Monday, August 2, 2021.
