The Cobb County Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Windy Hill Road near Olive Springs Road on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 9:13 p.m.

According to investigators, a grey 2018 Toyota Camry traveled west on Windy Hill Road towards Olive Springs Road while a pedestrian was in the roadway, not utilizing a pedestrian crosswalk. The front of the Toyota Camry collided with the pedestrian.

The driver of the Toyota Camry, 33-year-old Moses Taiwo of Marietta, was not injured.

The pedestrian, 62-year-old Anthony Robinson of Marietta, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. Next of kin has been notified.
