On February 16, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the manager of Ice Box Jewelry (in the city of Atlanta) was followed home by armed robbers and he and his wife were accosted by two armed, masked gunmen who forced them inside their residence and tied them up. The robbers took keys to the jewelry store, and one suspect left to join an unknown number of accomplices at the store location in Atlanta to burglarize it. The remaining robber took an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash from the residence before leaving the couple tied up.  The victims were not injured.

Atlanta Police are investigating the burglary of the store in their jurisdiction, while Cobb Police are investigating and coordinating with them regarding the home invasion in Cobb County.
