Mattie's Call

The Cobb County Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating a missing elderly female who was last seen on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. The female was last seen at Peachstone Independent Senior Living Apartments located at 2000 Austell Road.
 
The female, 67-year-old Shirley Jean Summers, has brown hair and blue eyes. Ms. Summers was last seen wearing navy blue shorts, a lime green shirt, gray tennis shoes, and using a walker. She has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Ms. Summers is known to frequent businesses near the apartments at 2000 Austell Road.
 
A Mattie's Call has been issued. 
 
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information should contact the Crimes Against Persons Unit at (770) 499-3945.
