Black History Month Resources

Black History Month
February 13, 2020

During Black History Month, we hear familiar names and read inspiring articles about towering figures and unsung heroes from the black community. Many of the leaders we honor and recognize are products of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). HBCUs make up only 3% of the country’s colleges and universities, but enroll 10% of all African American students and produce almost 20% of all African American graduates. In order to make information about HBCUs and minority-focused scholarships more accessible for all, BestColleges.com created a dedicated HBCU series in honor of Black History Month. Please share this information with students who are in need of this information and could greatly benefit from these resources.
