Cobb County leaders met first thing Wednesday morning to discuss the results of Tuesday's election. The group focused on the cityhood efforts and how to move forward.

County Manager Dr. Jackie McMorris told the group even though voters decided not to form new cities at this time, much work remains.

“This is an opportunity for us to continue to engage with our residents,” Dr. McMorris said. “We will address concerns we heard during our various town halls, in emails, and in community meetings. Tuesday’s vote does not end the discussion, but should start new conversations.”
