Kennesaw State University (KSU) is now a COVID-19 testing site. Under the direction of Governor Brian Kemp, the Georgia National Guard has selected KSU to host a new, drive-thru site to test Georgians for COVID-19. The testing site, located on the university’s Kennesaw campus, will be commanded by the Georgia National Guard, with testing performed by medical personnel from Augusta University.

Testing will be by appointment only. No walk-up testing will be allowed in order to protect workers. The testing facility at Kennesaw State will operate daily, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be able to facilitate 240 tests each day. This location will be operated as a controlled environment with personnel following the strictest health and safety protocols.

You may request a virtual screening for the virus at www.augustahealth.org or download a virtual screening app for your smart phone through AU Health ExpressCare. Through this virtual screening, medical officials can assess symptoms and assist those who meet the testing criteria, in finding an appointment to be tested at a facility.

If you have urgent questions or concerns, please call the Georgia COVID-19 Hotline at 844.442.2681.

Additionally, Cobb & Douglas Public Health (CDPH) has expanded its Jim Miller Park testing site.

Healthcare workers, first responders, law enforcement and long-term care facility residents and staff will still be prioritized for testing regardless of whether they are symptomatic or not. To be tested, you must be screened. You must have an appointment to be tested. Fill out the online testing form and you will be contacted  to make an appointment.

Jim R. Miller Park is located at  2245 Callaway Rd. SW, Marietta.
Testing will be done Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
